An environmental test chamber is a valuable tool to use when environmental conditions need to be simulated. Also known as environmental simulation chambers, they measure the wear-and-tear of simulated environmental conditions on a test sample. Varying degrees of light, air pressure, and physical movements such as vibrations are examples of simulations achievable by environmental test chambers. These simulations are important to manufacturers because they allow them to estimate the lifetime expectancy of a product, as well as anticipate problems that may occur with product aging.
