Abstract
Textiles are becoming increasingly more complex. For example, light-emitting textiles combine the electronics technologies and textiles to create application-oriented materials. The Textile Research Institute Thuringia Vogtland e.V. (TITV Greiz) in Thuringia, Germany, uses BINDER ED 53 drying ovens to test revolutionary new fabrics according to DIN, ISO, ASTM, and AATCC guidelines. Test conditions can be adapted to specific materials to obtain accurate test methods.
